I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at IMT Lucca, working within the Multi-scale Analysis of Materials (MUSAM) research group under the supervision of Prof. Marco Paggi and co-advisor Prof. Pietro Lenarda.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, University in Pune, India, in 2016, and I received my master’s degree in Mechanical Systems Design in 2020 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar.
My research primarily centers on the computational modeling of materials, specifically addressing fracture and contact issues. My thesis explores predicting failures in viscoelastic materials like polymer composites through the use of phase field models. Additionally, I have formulated mathematical models based on Prony series and fractional calculus to forecast material behavior. Furthermore, I conducted studies on fractures triggered by contact in materials with brittle coatings.
